Wed. evening

Dear Mother,

Well I arrived back safe and sound in Edmonton but I won't be here long. I'm leaving for Davidson, Sask. on Sat. night along with a few of the other boys. It is the only complete R.C.A.F. elementary school in Canada - all the rest have civilian instructors. It is 100 miles from S'ktoon so it will be quite easy for me to go in there if I get any 48's.

The trains were crowded all the way from Kelvington. I had to sit in the smoker all the way to Melville and was then lucky enough to get a seat in the coach. There was even people standing up on leaving home. I arrived in S'ktoon at 10.30 and Dad
