Dear Mother

I hope you are all quite well, I am just writing at few lines to let you know that I am all right, I received a parcel from Sadie the other day, please dont send me any more Cocoa au-Lait or coffee, we get Tea & Sugar issued in the Trenches, it has been a little drier the last few days.
Ted [?] is out here with us now I dont see much of him, hes not in the same company as myself. I think he is in B Coy.

I had a letter from maggie yesterday she writes nearly every week
