To the Military Authorities.-
Dear Sirs.-

Enclosed you will please find letters from two Winnipeg doctors, and a minister testifying to the reasons For which I make application For the return of my husband, Corp'l (Rev) A.W. Mayse No. 291494.

My plea is made because of my health, and that of my little boy. I am advised sympathetically not to work hard. The worry, weight of responsibility, and care of my delicate child is more than my strength is now equal to, and I see no prospect of improvement without assistance.

I have absolutely no relative or friend who is free to come to my aid, and am financially unable to engage help. My income now no more than suffices for our sheerest necessities, and obligations.

I hope the authorities will see fit to send my husband home.

Yours very respectfully

Elizabeth E. Mayse

This is to certify that Mrs. Mayse, wife of Amos William Mayse No. 291494
C.E.F. is suffering from chronic affection. Her son is suffering from an ailment which requires peration for his health.
The strain & anxiety of taking care of he family in her husbands absence lessens very greatly Mrs. Ms chances of recovery.

To whom it may concern,-

This is to testify that the facts cited in the application of Eliz. E. Mayse for the release from Military duty of her husband Corp'l (Rev) A.W.M. 291494 are true to fact.

Mrs. M. is physically unable to meet the daily demands of her home; she is completely dependent upon her husband and has no supplementary assistance.

Her case is most deserving of favorable consideration.

To whom it may concern,

This is to certify that Mrs. A.W. Mayse wife of Corp'l (Rev) A.W. Mayse No. 291494, has been under my care for some time, receiving treatment for [?] ulcer.

I have advised her to refrain from hard work and in my opinion she is unable to adequately look after herself and child. The latter is not well and is in prospect of having to undergo an operation.
