My dear Bill:

I suppose everybody you get a letter from will be telling you about the snow storm we've just had. Really it was terrific, just 21" of snow, that's all. Very few street cars were able to get through, all day yesterday, and the paper said 21 died in it. I didn't go to work all day yesterday, and this afternoon when I went you couldn't see the front of the Gallery for snow and I could just make my way to the back door, through the lane beside Stashmall's Drug Store. Oh yes, and I wore my ski boots too. Boy what a sight - ski boots and my winter coat. But, nevertheless, my feet were warm. Gee I don't think I'll ever forget it.

Betty, Kaye & I took some pictures on Sunday, and if they turn out they should be good. I'll send you a set of the one that do. If I approved of them.

Bill dear, I want to apologize for writing so little, but really I haven't any excuse except laziness, and if I could find anything to say, I would write more often. So don't think I have forgotten about you. I think it's marvellous how often you write to me, and I honestly do appreciate it.

Betty, Kaye, Eilleen & I went up to Eilleen's house on Sarurday night, and what fun the four of us had. Betty has a liquor permit, so Sat. afternoon she bought a mickey "MacDonald's Night Cap" and the four of us got pretty "high." Eilleen's parents were out. None of us had had any fun for a long while, or anything to drink as a matter of fact, so it was really a treat. I hope you're not ashamed of me.

I love my new job. It's really super, but I bet [?] thinks I'm an awfull dumb bunny, We have more of a bookkeeping lesson than doing any work. I never saw so many books before - all sizes. I might be able to get you a job holding the books for us. How would you like that?

Yes, Mr. Charles was speaking to me not very long ago. He was speaking to me not very long ago. He was checking up to see if your address had changed. We had quite a conversation. Did you know that Mr. Acheson is the principal now, and I'm not quite certain, but I heard ol' Doc. Edwards had "kicked the bucket."

Well sugar I think is about if for tonight. I'm trying to knit a dress for the baby that's to come soon. If you don't mind I think I'll go and see what I can do tonight.

Loads of love, and Lots of Luck

Hilda
