Greetings Corporal! Those stripes must be a bit heavy on the arms what! Congratulations.

Coming across the Clyde the other night in a drifter (It was raining and bitterly cold) - I bumped into one of the Munn boys and also a padre who married Tina Martyn from Ripley and therefore is a relative of mine. Just three Ripley boys in the rain!
I flew over to Ireland recently and had a trip in a Seafire and a Hellcat, so I can still keep the old hand in.

Ronny Thomson wrote me from his home in England - I think he was quite happy to be back.

Write often and give me all the news. Hope you have a Happy Christmas. (Preferably at home!)
