Sept 10 - wrote GLF and got letter from Florence

Sept 11 - Got 3 letters from GLF, Velma, Carrie Lucas and Rose

Sept 12 - wrote GLF 2 letters, Rose and home rained all day.

Sept 13 - Got letter from GLF

Sept 14 - wrote Velma & Fitz in morning Yanks make drive.

Sept 15 - Got three letters from GLF

Sept 16 - Got Eggs & Chips with Gilchrist

Sept 17 - wrote GLF and layed around hut until bed time

Sept 18 - wrote to GLF, posted letter to Velma

Sept 19 - nothing doing over for eggs and chips

Sept 20 - No mail saw Heck Coward Eddie Howard

Sept 21 - No mail stayed in at night at Hendecourt

Sept 22 - left for the front all night on road

Sept 23 - Went into action at Cambrai saw Sinclair & Langan
