My Dear Mir,
This isn’t going to be a really truly letter Dear, as I haven’t time, and wrote one to the Mater to-day, which you will get in due time. I must however, thank you a thousand times, for your parcel which arrived night before last. The Mater’s came last night and Nert’s to-night. So I will be writing her to-morrow.
That comb of honey is just perfect, and I was wondering the other day, when I would get some more acid drops. You are a pretty good guesser. I won’t be able to enjoy the boxes for a few days, as I made myself sick on Mother’s, night before last and don’t feel right yet. Trying to kid me, sending that Aylmer “boneless chicken”? By the way, I heard to-night that Vera has a son. There is a sister here from Aylmer and she told me. I would like to see her handling a kid, bet she would carry it by the back of the neck like a cat carries a kitten.
Awfully glad to hear you are off night duty, as I know how you detest it, but I was quite agreeably surprised to hear of your marks. You are making quite a different record from that of your H.S. career. Nert. too is doing well and I certainly hope you both continue. With your present work tho, it is about seventy-five per. cent practical, which I have always found makes the work half as hard. I was getting in a deal of studying, but am too busy now. Between my regular work and the few watches I am able to fix, I have not time to answer all of my letters. Have been getting quite a few of them lately and they soon pile up.
Your loving brother,
Worth.
