Dear Mother,

Just a note to say that my parcel has arrived at last. As the enclosed card shows, it has been to the record office. The cotton cover was not even soiled, but outer paper was badly torn.

Everything was in perfect condition and the Kodak. As I may not be able to get film much longer here nor in France when we get there, whenever I ask Nert to send me rolls, she will know I mean rolls of V.P.K. film of the quantity I specify.

I also enclose orders on which I came down here and on while Anne Wilson was attached, all of which I of course wish kept.

We have great difficulty in getting clinical thermometers, so I had better have one of my own. Have Emerson mail me the very best one he can get, in the very best (most durable) case. I think they are to be had in a case which will also contain alcohol for sterilizing, this of course would be very desirable.

The grey sox you sent, are the ones I missed. I thought I had brought them over with me. Mrs. Weston’s are dandy, I will write here this morning or to-night.

Lovingly,
Worth.
