Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well hoping this letter finds you all the same. My leg is all healed up now but is pretty weak yet so I guess I will soon be going to a convalescent. Do you ever write any letters I haven't had any for nearly three weeks now.

Well we spent a very good X-mas here quiet but lots to eat which was the main thing.

The lady Superintendant acted as Santa Claus and hung a stocking on our bed from the Nova Scotia Red Cross. Is there any snow down there now it is nice and warm here only it is raining about half the time.

I must close for now as news I haven't any. Write Soon

Good Bye

A Hamm.
