My Dear Sister,

I have a few minutes rest this afternoon, so am spending it writing you and Nerta. I have not had a letter this week from anyone, as our headquarters have been moved from St. Martin’s Plain to Seaford, where the unit is taking over a hospital. We don’t know much about it, but one of the boys who went down with a draft, says it is not ready yet, so I guess they will have to help put it in shape. He does not say that it is large enough to require the entire unit nor how soon they expect us, so I don’t know much about it. He says it is about the size of Adam Beck’s London house, situated in a kind of park and known as “The Ravens.” I hope we are soon down there as I will be glad when we all get to-gether again.

We have no idea how long it we will be left there. For the winter at least, and perhaps for duration.

I am sending some snaps, which you had better send home. I sent them some but they are sending them on to Floss, and had better have a set to keep, as I may never get the films home. They are very strict on photos over here. I will have more to send later.

Well I want to write a note to Hazel Mac so must stop.

O Dear, I forgot what I was really writing this letter for, to thank you for the dandy box of eats. It arrived in perfect condition and everything was so good. I enjoyed particularly the chocolate that was in the enclosed wrappers and the next time you send anything you can send this too. The jam I am saving till we move, because we don’t get much to eat then, and those little bottles will be so nice to carry. You certainly could not have sent me a better variety of stuff and if you are thinking of sending Pete anything you could not do better than duplicate the box you sent me, adding cigarettes and a couple of indelible pencils.

Lovingly,
Worth.
