We are exceedingly sorry to hear that it will be necessary for you to return to Canada at the end of your 13 month service, i.e. after the 29th October. 

I am writing to Mr. Morgan with reference to your journey and also to the High Commissioner for Canada, to secure his consent. 

I note that you propose travelw ith Miss M.M. Crochett which would of course be pleasanter for you. I shall write again in the course of two or three days.
