Dear William :- Received your ever welcomed letter of July 21st. and very glad to hear from you, that you are well, and all around you, as I am the same. The weather is very warm here. Mr. Williams has joined the Army, has he? Tell Stuart, he is very foolish to join, he don’t know what is ahead of him. I have not received the safety-razor yet. What Battalion has Williams joined? you did not say. Henry is doing well in the hospital, he is in the King George hospital, London. I suppose you have his address. The sights of some of the wounded around here is something awful. Tell Ma as you were asking me about, not to go out to work, show her this letter, and tell her there is no need for it, cut it out at once. Go to the Express Office, and see about the safety – razor, probably it went astray, also send me a tin of Sabadilla, you will get it at the druggists. Answer soon, Wesley
