Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and getting along fine. We are having pretty hot weather here now. We got out of a quarantine at last and I expect we will be going on pass pretty soon.

I got your parcel the other day but haven't tried it yet as I haven't finished the one Addie and the rest of the girls from Bunbury sent me and it was fine. I haven't had a letter from you for over two weeks.

Well as news is awful scarce I think I will close and go to church.
