Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am getting along pretty good now. Had a letter from you a couple of days ago also a parcel this morning which was mailed on Nov 13th and of course it came in very handy.

We are having lovely war weather here but it rains quite a lot.

That is a pretty expensive way for to had money sent I didn't think It cost so much or I should have waited a while for it. What did the Red Cross Visitor have to say. I guess it's the one that visits this hospital she is a awfully nice woman. I saw in a Canada where there was quite a fire in Ch. Town.
